Eddie Ramirez, DMDDr. Eddie Ramirez was born in Tala, Jalisco, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States with his parents at the age of 1. Through multiple challenges and obstacles, Dr. Ramirez completed his undergraduate studies at Portland State University and became the first undocumented/DACAmented individual to be accepted, matriculate and graduate from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry. He dedicates his efforts to improve oral health for his patients, and provide a voice for his community. Dr. Ramirez serves the American Dental Association (ADA) as a national leader serving on the Council on Dental Benefit Program and as a Delegate to the ADA House of Delegates. In addition, he is a state leader with the Oregon Dental Association. Dr Ramirez is invited to speak nationwide, inspiring communities through his story that obstacles can be turned into blessings. When he’s not advocating for his profession and community he is spending time with his husband and furchild, Benji. |
